Thank you to those who provided feedback on our conferences.  Based on your thoughtful input, we have made these changes:

  • Welcome Keynote and Networking Reception the night before the conference, and earlier conference closing to support traveling attendees
  • More networking time to share the best ideas for BUILDING our profession on evidence
  • More consultation appointments – scheduled throughout both days
  • Expanded pre-conference workshops – Quality Assessments and CAEP Accreditation *note: NCATE and TEAC legacy accreditation will not be covered

Call for Presentations – CAEP seeks innovative and engaging presentations in interactive sessions on the following topics:

  • Preparation of candidates to help P-12 students achieve college and career-ready standards
  • Evidence-based models for clinical partnerships, educators, and experiences
  • Strategies for increasing diversity and selectivity in candidate admissions
  • Methods for assessing the impact of completers on P-12 student learning
  • Data analysis, data sharing, and data use in program improvement
  • Techniques for creating quality assessments

About the CAEPCon

The CAEPCon is an opportunity to share evidence of innovations, continuous improvement, and transformational practice; as well as inform on the CAEP Accreditation process. At the CAEPCon, hundreds of supporters of improving teacher quality including educator preparation providers, state educational agencies, local educational agencies, educational organizations and associations gather together to share innovative ideas about accreditation’s role in ensuring candidate readiness.  Our focus is on capacity building as well as information and strategies.
