As part of its commitment to transparency and public accountability, the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP), the nation’s newest specialized accrediting body, sought public comment on the recommendations developed by the CAEP Commission on Standards and Performance Reporting February 22–March 29, 2013. Results of an independent, third-party analysis of the comments will be made available in May, and is under consideration as the Commission prepares to meet the first week in June to finalize its recommendations to the CAEP Board of Directors.
