The intentional use of documentation, multiple and valid measures, and analysis provided as support for and proof of an educator preparation provider’s (EPP) claims related to CAEP’s standards.
CAEP sets global evidence caps in AIMS rather than page limits: for the Self-Study Report (SSR), an EPP may upload up to 90 evidence documents when seeking accreditation at one level only (initial or advanced), or up to 135 evidence documents when seeking accreditation at both initial and advanced levels in the same review; for the Self-Study Addendum, CAEP allows up to 50 additional evidence documents that were not included in the original SSR; and for the Site Review, AIMS permits up to 50 evidence documents to support clarifications during the review. These limits are enforced directly in AIMS and are separate from narrative character limits and file-size limits. See AIMS for file types and size limitations.
