The Policy Committee of the CAEP Accreditation Council met in April and recommended motions to approve several amendments to the Accreditation Policy and Procedures. CAEP is now seeking public comments on the proposed Amendments. The proposed amendments are posted below.

A document that has side-by-side comparisons between the existing language in the Accreditation Policies and Procedures, along with the rationale for each change is available for review. A second document displays a markup of how the amendments would be changed within the Accreditation Policies and Procedures document is also available below.

The public comment period for the amendments to the Accreditation Policies and Procedures will be open until August 1, 2024. CAEP staff will then review comments and prepare a summary of suggested changes, if any, for Policy Committee consideration, prior to the Accreditation Council meeting in October 2024.
