Standards The 2001 edition of ISTE Standards for Technology Facilitation and Leadership are applicable to program reports submitted through 2012. A new set of standards were approved in Fall 2012. Programs can use either set of standards through Fall 2014. Beginning in Spring 2015, programs must use the 2012 edition of ISTE Standards for Technology Coach and Director.
The 2002 edition of ISTE Standards for Computer Science Education are applicable to program reports submitted through Spring 2013. ISTE submitted new standards to NCATE in Fall 2012 and is working on final revisions to the new standards. It is anticipated that ISTE will submit revisions for final approval in Spring 2015.  After the new standards and forms are posted, programs can use either set of standards for the following three review cycles after which program must use the new standards.
