The Alliance is composed of thirteen states committed to major transformation of educator preparation policies and practices:

All states are at different levels of development in their pursuit of establishing clinically-based educator preparation programs and partnerships between teacher education providers and local P-12 schools. The member states are geographically diverse and serve as a stimulus for other states to move toward clinically based teacher preparation.
