SHAPE America National Standards for Initial Physical Education Teacher Education 2017 (PETE):

SHAPE America’s PETE standards were approved in 2017 for the National Recognition of Physical Educator Teacher Preparation Programs. Starting in fall 2021, EPPs pursuing CAEP accreditation will be able to submit reports using the SHAPE America National Standards for program level review leading to SPA National Recognition. Programs can start requesting templates (or shells) for the fall 2021 review cycle starting March 1, 2021. The deadlines for submitting the reports for the fall 2021 cycle is September 15, 2021.
